Streaks on North Shore glass rarely come from the tap. Metro Vancouver's drinking water comes off mountain reservoirs and measured 2.4 to 24.4 mg/L of calcium carbonate in the region's own 2024 water quality testing (Metro Vancouver, 2024), a fraction of the 60 mg/L where water starts counting as hard. The white spotting you see on windows here usually comes from somewhere else: sprinkler overspray, runoff carrying minerals out of the concrete and stucco above the glass, and cleaning products that dried before they were rinsed.
That's why our exterior method finishes the way it does. The water-fed pole scrubs each window and rinses it with 100% filtered pure water, water with the dissolved solids taken out, so it dries clear with nothing left behind to spot. The frames and sills above the glass get rinsed in the same pass, which removes the source of the next streak instead of waiting for it.
