The North Shore is hard on outdoor surfaces. Shaded concrete grows a green film, moss creeps across pavers and driveways, and a property can look tired long before anything is actually wrong with it. Some calls are about a date on the calendar, a listing or an event; from property managers it's usually a building that needs to look presentable again for its tenants.
The mistake we see most from do-it-yourself attempts is pressure. People underestimate how much the right equipment and technique matter: too much pressure damages siding, concrete and wood, and the wrong product leaves marks of its own. We match the method to the material, and where high pressure would hurt a surface, we soft wash it instead.
We work across all of North Vancouver, from Lower Lonsdale and Central Lonsdale up through Edgemont Village and Lynn Valley to Deep Cove, on jobs from a single walkway to multi-day commercial washes.
Really happy with the work! EKL was able to get the job done almost immediately after scheduling. Thorough and impressive work!
Great service. Super professional and fast. I called same day and got the job done. Highly recommend for anybody needing a reliable window cleaning service in north shore.
EKL Cleaning did a phenomenal job in regards to cleaning out one of the more difficult to reach skylight windows of our home. Eli was extremely attentive to detail and made sure the end results were spectacular. I will definitely be utilizing EKL Cleaning's services again in the near future.
The scope is agreed in the quote before we start. If a surface needs a different method than you expected, soft washing instead of pressure for example, we say so up front instead of finding out on your property.
Hiring a professional keeps you inside the rules. Under Metro Vancouver's regional water restrictions, which moved to Stage 2 in July 2026, residents using their own pressure washer are limited to cleaning for health or safety, and washing a driveway or patio purely for appearance is off the table. Hired cleaning companies are permitted to carry out cleaning at residential properties (Metro Vancouver, 2026).
The line the region draws is between cleaning that addresses a risk, algae that could cause a slip for example, and cleaning that is for appearance. With your own machine you can only do the first; a professional service can do both. Each municipality enforces the rules through its own bylaws, so it's worth knowing before you rent a machine for a weekend.

Half of a pressure washing job is what happens to the water afterwards. Everything that comes off a surface, the grime, the moss, the cleaning product, ends up in the runoff, and on bigger jobs containing and cleaning up that waste water takes real time. It's why we tell customers a large wash can run more than a day, and why we quote the job honestly instead of racing it.
Every job ends with a final inspection before we pack up. We walk the surfaces, check the edges and corners against the agreed scope, and send you photos of the finished work with the invoice. Customers on a recurring service agreement also get touch-ups between visits, so a wash that gets undone early by weather or traffic gets put right.
The same front walkway into an apartment building: we cleared the leaves off it, then washed the pavers underneath.
Commercial properties are most of our work. EKL's customers include restaurants, offices, real estate groups and construction sites, and the exterior side of that work runs from storefront frontages and entry walkways to stairs, parkades and building exteriors.
For a building manager the job usually covers the whole property: the entry tenants walk every day, the walkways, the parkade levels, the frontage. We work 7 days a week and time commercial washes so they stay out of the way of tenants and customers, and recurring washes can sit on a service agreement so the property never slides back.

Four steps, start to finish, and you approve the scope before we book it.

The right pressure, products and method for each material, soft washing where high pressure would cause damage. Bigger jobs can run more than a day.
A final inspection of every surface, waste water cleaned up, and photos of the finished work sent with your invoice.
